How to remove unused values from a list in Python
I have a list that can have various numbers of values, depending on the choice a user makes. For example:
[1, 2, 4, 3, 7, 4, 7, 8]
However, there are other values that the user shouldn't see, such as "0". I've been looking into trying to use enumerate and some other functions, but I've been unable to get anything to work.
Ideally, I would like something that removes all values that are unused and leaves only the ones that are used, leaving something like:
[1, 2, 4, 3, 7, 4, 7, 8]
